3.5 star rating		Despite requesting 5 double rooms and 1 twin room we were given 5 twin rooms and 1 double room and due to the number of bookings this could not be changed. The rooms were not of a very good standard. The room that I had was small, pokey, smelt oddly and the bathroom was small and a little grotty. The others had similar experiences of their rooms. Some were larger but the general upkeep was poor. The food was overpriced for what it was. That said the service received by the staff was very good.	RM	24 October 2012

2.5 star rating	tried to help- but didnt	long long walk to first room - double not twin - had to walk all the back with luggage as phone did not work could not provide twin room booked ended up in 2 rooms -not good as celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary hotel catering for 2 weddings - obviously given priority over everything else tried to charge twice for breakfast generally very basic rooms and single beds the smallest I have ever seen	marty	08 August 2013

3.0 star rating	The Sport and Leisure facilities are the main attraction	Not Suitable for Elderly or Disabled. The floors in the Old building are uneven and there is no Lift Access. The Carpeting is in a good Condition but if you are visually impaired the Strips are very distracting which resulted in a trip going upstairs from the restaurant Which I should of report but I didn't my Fault. The Bar and Lounge Area is Understaffed. The Restaurant menu did not change in the 4 Nights and as it was not easily accessible we used the Bar which had a limited Menu. The Bedroom Tea Coffee and Bathroom Tissues were not replenished daily. The Clock Tower Pub Linked to the Hotel was Closed due to Flooding Reducing the Options for Food even further	Anonymous	22 June 2016
