4.0 star ratingLovely staff, fab room cleaners, loved the biscuits at bed-time, good breakfast, lovely the bath treats and the general ambience, was a fun hotel, amazing bedSpa didn't smell too good. The showers in the Spa didn't work (freezing cold). Room air con wasn't brilliant (way too hot at night) and although lowered was never really quite right at night. Slow to offer coffee at breakfast. It is out of the and we thought the shutttle would take us to Sloane Square day / evening we arrived (Sunday and ready to go at 5pm) but it stopped mid afternoon?23 March 2013

4.5 star ratingGreat hotel in the making, extremely helpful staff, Valet parking at £25 a night, usual for London. The room was modern and very easy to manage, I have an upper limb disability and the electronic door access on a fob was really useful as were all the touch button lights. The room itself was all leather an mirrors and overlooked the helipad and the river Thames, no sound of helicopters disturbed us but the sight of them landing and taking off gave added enjoyment to the room with a few. We ate at the hotel and I cant wait to go back when I save up again. It was the best Asian food I have ever tasted, not cheap at £140 for two, two courses, two glasses of wine. The vegetarian options were a delight, delicate and flavoursome, the fish was out of this world. The great thing about the drinks were the non alcoholic options really unusual and really tasty. The one down side was the bathroom, the taps were too stiff and bits fell off in my partners hands, the bath only ran boiling hot water, no cold and the marvellous telly over the bath kept switching itself off, The staff did attend to some of these issues however there is nothing more annoying than checking into a luxury hotel, the promise of running a bath, having the novelty of a TV to watch and then unable to use the facilities, wrapped in a towel you cannot call for hotel maintenance. The air-conditioning was loud and we could not see anyway to open the windows. Would I go back, yes at the price we paid.Rex30 May 2013
3.5 star ratingThe next morning, my husband told the reception staff they would have to move us as we could not tolerate the heat in the room. They kindly moved us into a lovely suite for the second night of our stay.Air conditioning did not work in our room despite attempts by staff to fix it. They should have offered us another room as it was boiling hot. The staff member gave us a couple of fans but these were not sufficient to cool the room.Bailey07 July 2013
3.0 star ratingExcellent food and great once I was finally moved rooms... (1am in the morning after being told it was not possible....)Air conditioning not working, offered a desk fan... Internet not working on TV.... Bath plug operator came off in my hand....Tommy11 July 2013
4.0 star ratingThe hotel allocated twin rooms for our party as requested The rooms were of good quality and clean The gym and the spa facilities were adequate We booked early and got a great rateThe time to check in was too long The facilities (tea and coffee) in the room were not adequate and we had to ask each day for more which did eventually get brought to the room. Staff were very helpful but it did take a long time for room serviceAnonymous 04 July 2014
5.0 star ratingThis is a great hotel - its price is equivalent to a 3 star hotel in a more central location. But what this hotel lacks in location, it highly compensates in facilitites: Beautiful, amazing room (even though mine had a small air-condition problem), with 42" TV and another TV in the bathtub! smart comtrols of all the lights, connectivity for different devices, good bed and pillows, good view of the Thames and Heliport from a city room (prefer a high floor), withouth hearing a sound! The spa - amazing! big jet tub with different jets, and variety of saunas. And a fitness room. Breakfast is delicious, although a bit expensive (20 Pounds per person). You don't feel the other guests, even though the hotel was fully booked. A shuttle sefvice to 2 destinations. And a good, free wifi. Location - on the south side of the Thames (although right on the Thames). 10 min walk from Clapham train and tube station, so can be a bit uncomfertable (although it's quick and cheap train ride from Gatwick). If there were more shuttles, it would be better, especially to Clapham junction. Also, shops and restaurants are a bit far, so not much to do nearby. However, while on tube, distance to main interest points is OK. Friendliness and efficiencty of recedption and concierge were OK (a complaint to reception about the aircondition wasn't handled, and one of the concierge stuff made me feel like my questions were nagging...).
