Convento D'Alter Hotel Alentejo

The Hotel is located just two hours away from Lisbon in the villa of Alter do Chão, in the Alentejo region of Portugal.A completely restored Franciscan Convent of the late XVI century which was used as private residence yet during the last one. Preserving its original splendour and characteristics the old convent suffered a profound transformation turning it into a fine hotel with new areas and facilities.The hotel has thirty room, all equiped with private bathroom. Some of them inspired in past centuries style.
