This charming historical hotel is located in the culture, tourism, business and governmental centre of the historic Old Town of Christiansted in the Virgin Islands. It is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, boutiques and bars and just a 3-Built near The Royal Wharf in the 1750s for a Danish Doctor, one of St. Croix's oldest buildings has been home to this hotel since 1948. It has been lovingly restored and furnished with West Indian antiques and replicas. The air-conditioned hotel offers 2The hotel offers uniquely designed and furnished guest rooms, suites, and loft suites. They have been refurbished and are equipped with Sealy pillow top mattress on a double or king-size bed, 100% cotton linens, and bamboo/cotton towels. Internet access, There is an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use.

4.5 star ratingMy wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We had an historic room on the 3rd floor - a sunny, corner, attractive room without a lot of storage places. Of particular note was the helpfulness of the staff, especially Christine who went beyond the norm in helping us plan our stay and solve all our little problems. She's a gem.10 May 2011
