5.0 star ratingLovely hotel - reception, bedroom (upgraded to suite on arrival!), function room, bathrooms restaurants - all beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Staff friendly, polite and and very helpful.Breakfast was a bit chaotic - ran out of food, cutlery, glassware etc.15 September 2008
4.0 star ratingThe hotel was lovely, very clean. staff were very friendly and relaxed but yet very efficient considering the hotel was so busy. all in all i found the hotel to be a great place to spend my nights stay in dublin.I found check in and out a bit slow. at breakfast there were no plates, bowls or milk but i do understand it was peak time when i decided to eat, i wont make that mistake again. i found the bedroom to be a little on the cool side.02 December 2008

5.0 star ratingWe have stayed at this hotel before and would have no problem recommending it to others or staying again. The rooms were clean and the breakfast very substantial and enjoyed by all our party. The only negative is the car park. As a paying guest there should be no charge and it is far too small for the number of rooms at the hotel. Although we got parked eventually.Janet.25 March 2010

3.5 star ratingIt's location is superb for easy locating it. The place is homely and loved every minute of my stayWas given a floor full of cigarette smoke. Within minutes of walking on the corridors my nose were blocked as I am none smoker. I had to complain to be given another floor of which if the lady who checked me, had she asked me I would have not been in such situation. Sirhc. 03 October 2012

3.0 star ratingIn general good value for money considering we were on a room only rate, hotel is convenient for travelling into city centre and is handy to get to no matter what direction you are coming from to Dublin.I have 2 main issues: 1) My party were a couple and 2 females, the latter preferring to have our own beds, so the booking with Hotelopia was made for 2 'double double' rooms which I expected to be 2 rooms with 2 double beds in them which suited our party. When we got to our rooms both were rooms with 1 double bed in each. That was fine for the couple but I rang reception about the rooms booking we were told the booking was for 2 double rooms not 2 'double double' rooms so they offered to get the double bed in my room split into twin set up which was a satisfactory alternative we felt. Nobody appeared while we were in the room before heading into the city centre (we were in the room for about 2 hours and left at 6pm) but when we returned at 2am the bed was still made up as a double and had not been split!! We then had to get bed clothes at that time of the night and split the bed ourselves!! It was very annoying and disappointing that this was not done after being requested and there was plenty of time to get it done. Basically the option of a 'double double' room is misleading as it's NOT what it says. 2) this hotel has a VERY confusing set up re: floors and rooms and lifts ... we were told at reception to go through the door and go to the end of the corridor where there was a lift to the our floor which didn't match the room number in the 500s ... think we were on the 4th floor in fact it was so confusing I can't even remember the set up 3 days later!! Plus the A4 paper signage all over the place doesn't make it any easier to get to your room.CMS05 July 2016
