4.0 star ratingI was very impressed by the customer service and friendliness of the staff members, available 24/7. Hotel location is great with excellent transportation links and shopping / dining places very close by. Overall, very satisfied with the stay here.We found room and bathroom sizes little congested than average hotel rooms in similar bracket. Their studio rooms have no fixed double-bed but rather sofa-cum-bed. Wi-fi is only available at the reception and not in the rooms. Carpet and other furniture, fixtures look bit run-down in the room.AP12 September 2012
2.5 star ratingStayed in a one bed apartment Nov 2016. Given two single beds - asked for a double but none were available. Staff said they would move us when an apartment with a double came free - never heard back from them. Rooms are tired and worn - badly need redecorating. Much poorer standard that two other Citadines in Paris we have stayed at. Bathroom and toilet are grotty, shower was abysmal, even by Paris standards (spraying water everywhere) and we had to ask for it to be repaired (which the receptionist did). Aircon doesn't work and the room was so hot and stuffy we had to constantly open windows to cool off. Wifi was patchy and slow and the system obviously needs upgrading. The building is part of a shopping mall - very handy (has a supermarket) but not so good when workmen spent all night (pretty much from 9pm to 5am) putting up Christmas decorations using machines/cranes, etc and talking loudly - not a wink of sleep that night! We are now at Citadines Les Halles Paris - far superior! Until Citadines renovates the Place D'Italie property - do yourself a favour and avoid. Anonymous 17 November 2016
