4.5 star ratingWe needed an overnight stay which offered a late check-in and a late-check out. Normally we wouldn't have considered this hotel due to price but it came up as a 'deal' on Trivago and worked out very well. The night receptionist wasn't very welcoming and gave the wrong information about meal times.Anonymous 19 September 2016
3.5 star ratingI live in the Canary Islands and was visiting friends in Bromsgrove. I had stayed 2 nights in September and was very satisfied with everything apart from the room was the furthest away and a long walk from reception. I had booked in October for the 2 night trip on December 3rd specifying I wanted a room close to reception.. 3 weeks before departure I had a muscle breakdown. I had to have wheelchair assistance on arrival and departure as legs were painful and had to do short walks with no stairs. I knew I had requested room near reception but did phone on the day previous to my departure and explained to the girl on the reception phone what had happened to my legs, she said she would make sure I was close to reception. It was the same one who checked me in on arrival and we were given room 132 which was the exact same room as our visit on September 16th. she said it had been impossible and to be honest didn't even care about my legs. no customer service from her!!! my niece had to take a chair from the room and I had to sit down during the long corridor, it was that or on all fours. in September we had an excellent member of staff and this would not have happened while she was on duty but unfortunately she was not working our weekend! I will be complaining direct to their hotel site. The reception girl kept repeating "it was the room you paid for"??? I cannot remember putting room 132 on my booking???? we were in conversation with other guests who booked through the hotel website and paid less than us????See abovemagsie11 December 2016
5.0 star ratingGreat location Good size rooms - particularly the family rooms Fabulous food for evening meal Great reception service Swimming pool and gym Very cold in lobby and restaurant - staff did bring a heater to our table to try to help Anonymous 13 September 2016
4.5 star ratingStaff very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and they were able to provide interconnecting rooms as requested. The facilities were great and the entire hotel was very clean. Even thought there was a function on it was not noisy. The staff at the swimming pool were very competent and ensured the rules were adhered to.Nothing major just little things. They asked for payment on check in even though i had paid online, fortunately i was able to produce the email. You have to pay for parking!!! I find that quite unbelievable as a paying guest. The tap leaked over the bath. At breakfast they were extremely busy and the lady overseeing things didn't appear to be very organised. It felt that they hadn't expected that many guests! Also the mushrooms were greasy and the hash browns soft. Anonymous 30 August 2016
