2.0 star ratingthe food was quite nice carvery but would of liked more choose ..... the swimming pool sauna n steam room were nice ..... we was not happy with the room for £60 as weve stayed in cheaper accomidation in the past with better rooms at other hotels ..... the room was on the 2nd floor with a tinny little window which did not open very much at all it had been a rather warm day but not the hight of summer rather unbarable to breath in ... my partner is astmatic so does require sutible air conditions we then phoned the reception to ask if their was another room somewhere with better opening windows or a fan and was told that all the rooms were the same the windows didnt open anymore in any room .... that you didnt give out fans for heath and safty ..... the bed was rather hard and the bathroom was dirty with stains in the bath and black mould by the toilet plus the pannel of the bath was off .... not what you would expect for a room costing £60 a night so we did not use the bathroom only the spa .... we choose your hotel off the internet as it had a pool and we wanted to relax for one evening before my interview near by the next day we realy could not afford this luxsury but thought that it would be a nice change but as it was so stuffy in the room we slept realy bad plus we constantly listend to some young people banging doors and shouting into the early hours that i couldnt get my thoughts together for my interview the next day !!!!!!.on leaving the hotel after breakfast the next morning the girl on reception asked us if we had a good stay we did mention the room was stuffy and asked if all your rooms were like that to be told not in the new building the windows open fully and we asked if they were the same price and did they have spare rooms availible to be told yes to both questions so was very upset that we had not been told this on the phone the evening before when we asked the same question !!!!! we did not want to voice our views the day of leaving as were rushing to get to my interview but as soon as we were back we thought thatyou should no that we are not happy at all and will reconsider using your hotel ever again .....yours A Matthewsclark29 September 2011

4.0 star ratingGood facilities and extremely good value for money. Some parts of the Hotel are looking a little tired and worn but for the price you cant complain too much! For the 2nd time when using use your company to make my reservation online, the hotel did not have a record of my booking number and had to manually check me in.Veritas15 December 2011
3.0 star ratingthe hotel is a nice place to stay and was good for our company christmas party. upon first arrival what i assume to be the manager spoke to a receptionist in a manor not expected to be heard, especially when guests are checking in. the carpet in our room had not been hoovered properly. this was evident by the large clump of mud and smaller pieces scattered around the room. the room could do with new wallpaper as it was drab; pealing and poorly put up.wainy19 December 2011

2.5 star ratingNice grounds, thats about it. I payed £19 for breakfast for me and my partner and the food was awful. The wallpaper in my hotel room was peeling off the walls, you have to pay extra to use facilities, overall I wasn't very impressed with the place but being a Britannia hotel I don't expect much more. Have to say that I won't be returning any time soon!Jay17 April 2013
