3.5 star ratingGreat Staff at reception/check-in and concierge well above average. Room (double delux) a decent size with nice balcony an view of pool area. Cleanliness exceptional! Lovely bar area and again staff very friendly and courteous. Hotel in a good, seemingly safe area and within walking distance of Rodeo Drive, or be driven by hotel courtesy car to same area. All in all a very nice hotel and will use again.Hotel Valet Parking or self parking available but very steep at $36 every 24 hours for which ever you choose, especially staying for 10 nights, surely a discount worthy for longer stays. It cost more to park the car than hire it!! Only real disappointment during stay was we used breakfast area once which was on last day and thank goodness did not book in for breakfast! Ridiculous cost for bad service and even worse food, refused to pay it was so bad.JAL26 April 2012

3.5 star ratingStaff were friendly and food pretty good. Foyer was niceThey wanted $40 per night for parking even for guests. For 5 nights total $200 US. BIT OF A RIP OFF! The rooms were very old and sad. We got put in the oasis section which was tired. Air con was noisy. Beds were saggy. Despite booking About 5 months prior and requesting adjacent rooms they could not accomodate that request even though we arrived early. They held $100 per night per room on credit card. This totalled about 1400$ Australian which was locked up for the duration of the stay and a few days after. Evidently they don't trust their patrons ? Georgem11 January 2016
