4.5 star ratingOur room was compact but clean and practical. Food and drink from the bar fridge in the room was complimentary, which was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. The best part was the location, so close to Sentosa and Vivo City and the MRT.While our room was small, I believe it meets Singapore standards for space.Anonymous 31 October 2014
5.0 star ratingThe quality of the hotel went above my expectations in terms of cleanliness, room itself also the interactiveness of the staff as I got a upgrade from a standard room to a deluxe room. The vicinity of the hotel was worthwhile as it is easily accessible to various tourist destination ehich made it a good stay for us at a bargain! 2.0 star ratingTo whom it may concern, Greetings to Hotelopia. Firstly I would like to share with everyone a detailed experience of my stay and encounter in Bay Hotel Singapore. Upon registration or other enquiries over at the front desk the staff was unfriendly and Housekeeping had not been making up the room in full order as items had not been fully replenished as much as the bed linens, duvets, pillowcases were not changed either constantly for more then three days straight when clearly I had placed the make up room card on the bed to acknowledge Housekeeping to have the bedsheets, pillowcases changed which they failed to do so. Disappointing enough my calls weren't able to reach them which I had to approach front desk several times regarding the issue and with slow response was being informed by the duty manager that Housekeeping was off duty and that there's nothing much he could do other then to provide me with fresh clean sheets. Being patient I changed the sheets and make up the bed myself constantly for three days straight until the fourth day when it reached the limit to my patience and approach front desk to make a complaint to their general manager which was not around all the time and another duty manager took an interest to my situation and tried to make up for their shortfall in their service by offering to charge me a different room rate amount that is slightly cheaper but still nothing seem to be improving as the room was not make up properly as I returned back to the room from my tired outing just to find it uncleaned and again was offered a room change during the wee hours in the morning having to shift all of my belongings to the next room. Another unfortunate incident happened was that Housekeeping entered my room when clearly I had switched on the "do not disturb sign" on the door while I was taking my shower and to my surprise I was being seen naked!! I immediately stepped back into the toilet and yelled "get out" and without any hesitation the Housekeeping left the room. Feeling very frustrated and disturbed by the incident I made a report to the hotel duty manager demanding to receive an official statement of apology via through email or in writing cause I want it documented which they had failed To comply or refuse to do so. I honestly felt that they lacked the quality in their service standards and should be ranked as a Budget hotel. Best regards, Gill.Gill19 November 2016
