The Arden Country House is a friendly bed & breakfast nestled in a grove of trees just off State Highway 1 & on the corner with the northern end of Waitati Valley Rd a 15 minute drive from Dunedin city centre & to Port Chalmers as well as to the Forsythe Barr Stadium for Rugby World Cup games. The drive from here to Port Chalmers has been descibed as one of the most scenic in the country as well as the train trip. 10 minutes to the university & the hospital. Even closer is the Orokonui Ecosanctuary & a local store which is opposite a cafe. 45 minutes to Moeraki & the Otago Peninsula. We are on the cycleway from Dunedin. We offer three great bed & breakfast rooms and a very affordable self contained cottage for groups up to five people. Plenty of off street parking.
