3.5 star ratingWe travelled with bikes on the back of the car and were happy enough with the security of the car park to leave them locked on overnight. It is surrounded by the rooms so bikes were visible from the room. The rooms are perfectly comfortable for an overnight stay and have a good fridge and a basic hob. It's not far into the centre and there is a great little restaurant (superb with the children) only a minute's walk away from the hotel. There is a good process for getting keys when the reception desk is closed.We stayed in two different rooms. The difference in the level of maintenance between the 2 was marked. One had a bathroom you could barely move in and some pieces of equipment or plumbing needing attention. The other room was fine. The noise insulation between the suites is not great.HelenM30 August 2011
