The House Podkoren is in the quaint village of Podkoren, only a seven minute walk away from the graceful ski slopes. Podkoren is steeped in local mystery and myth, and the region is said to hide the emerald Lake of Zelenci, the second source of the Sava River. Modren facilities can be found today in the picturesque area, and guests can enjoy a spectacular variety of year round sports. The Skiing World Cup is held every year near to the residence. The slopes of Kranjska Gora are an easy distance away, and skiers of all abilities will find suitable runs. Cross country skiing is also available in the winter months, and the summer sunshine brings with it the possibilities of scenic hikes and fabulous mountain biking. House Podkoren contains two modern apartments within one main house. The house has been completely renovated. Larger parties may like to rent the entire house. The apartments have separate entrances for privacy, but can be easily connected if desired. One apartment has one bedroom and is suitable for up to six people. It has a double bed in the bedroom, two double sofa beds in the living room, one bathroom, and a well equipped kitchen / diner. The other apartment is suitable for up to seven people. There are two bedrooms, one of which has three beds, the other has two beds. There is a double sofa bed in the living room. There are two bathrooms and a toilet. There is a well equipped kitchen area with a dining table. Each apartment has a TV. Guests can enjoy the small but charming garden. A garage provides ample storage for ski equipment, bicycles and other sporting items. There are many activities within the wider area for guests to enjoy, and popular excursions include to the famous Lake Bled and the capital city of Ljubljana, both of which are within a short driving distance. Both apartments have wifi. There is a garage and two parking spaces.
