The Abades Nevada Palace is a very modern hotel with distinctive avant-garde architecture close to the centre of Granada. It has a spectacular lobby area and rooms with a minimalist, contemporary style which, thanks to the building's elliptical shape, enjoy views over the city, the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada. The hotel features an excellent convention centre and a wonderful spa area. The picturesque historical centre of Granada can be reached within a 10-minute drive; the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada are about 30 minutes away by car.

4.5 star ratingexcellent room and wide choice at breakfast buffet, good pool. Staff helpful when asked but didn't offer explanations which might have been useful. Most spoke some English but most preferred Spanish!fried food always cold at breakfast. Need to put directions on website : easy to find if you follow A44 direction Motril, then Ronda Sur and leave at Junction 2 where hotel is visible from road. 4.5 star ratingVery clean, central , modern rooms, etcthe bartender wanted to close the bar precisely at 00:00, when we were a group of Hoteliers that were in a wokshop at the Hotel until at 23:30. We have nothing to eat that evening, because he couldn´t stay 1/2 hour later.......Hugo19 March 2012
