3.0 star ratingthe night shows/band are good; but the area is smoking-permitted which is just beyond me; Piano performance in Pink bar is good as wellsome staff are simply unfriendly or even rude; unprofessional; unhelpful; which are just not right for a 5 star hotel.. There were no desert spoons available and when i asked; a male staff simply picked up from another desk and threw on my desk!! That spoon was certainly dirty enough to ruin anyone's appetite... No info. or brochures being provided for guests to choose some tours which is very disappointing; as even bufget hotels normally have them available.E24 May 2013
5.0 star ratingThis is a wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. The food staff and service were excellent. We had a sea view room on the top (3rd floor no lifts in this hotel) with a balcony which was wonderful to sit out on in the evenings watching the sunset over the ocean. We actually got married here and the staff made the wedding and our honeymoon fantastic. Our special thanks go out to Joy and Monica who both went that extra mile to make our wedding day so wonderful. There are just two negative points to mention the wine in the restaurants is very expensive if you are buying a bottle every night. They were around £40 a bottle they did have cheaper bottles on the menu but they didn't ever to be available. So most people ordered bottles of water in the restaurant which was a shame. The other negative point was the free wi- fi system which did work once you could get into the system and put the password in which you had to do every 24 hours which was a bit of a pain but I understand that the hotel is looking into addressing this.Anonymous 07 February 2014
